SSA recognizes the growing problem that Identity Theft poses to the small business community.  The FTC reports that more than fifty percent (50%) of identity theft occurs in the workplace.  While most of these thefts happen unintentionally and without malice, the government has seen fit to impose rules and regulations that apply to the vast majority of small businesses.  SSA has the ability to help businesses comply with these regulations and assist them in training their employees about all five types of identity theft.
